Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Description

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Admin 2450 Peoria, US:CO:Aurora

Department: UCHlth Metro Patient Line

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $24.11 - $36.17/hour. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Summary

Uses clinical knowledge to provide efficient flow of clinical and non-clinical information via phone in a call center setting. Registers patients, schedules appointments, and may obtain referral or insurance information, verify guarantor info, and quote co-pay, coinsurance, and self-pay rates.

Responsibilities
  • Answers patient calls and performs registration and scheduling.
  • Obtains insurance and demographic info.
  • Collaborates with staff to improve patient experience and escalates calls as needed.
  • Shadows clinics to understand workflows and serves as a subject matter expert on injuries.
Requirements
  • Licensed Athletic Trainer
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certification by BOC and state licensure as an Athletic Trainer
