Job summary
Grady Memorial Hospital Corporation in Atlanta seeks an Athletic Trainer Certified to provide athletic training services under the direction of the Sports Medicine or Orthopedic Clinic Manager, with clinical responsibilities and potential program development for the orthopedic team.
The role includes direct patient contact for evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal issues, adherence to NATABOC and GA Board standards, and serving as a preceptor for the Athletic Training Residency program,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
- ATC certification and GA state license.
- 2+ years of job-related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPR.
Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training services under supervision of orthopedic physicians.
- Engage in clinical care and musculoskeletal evaluations and treatment.
- Participate in program development for athletic training services as needed.
- Serve as a preceptor for the Athletic Training Residency program (teaching bi-monthly).
