Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to deliver clinical athletic training services in a clinic setting, under physician supervision. The role includes injury assessment, rehabilitation, and injury prevention programs for student-athletes and active individuals.

The position requires travel to Banner University Clinics in Scottsdale and Phoenix locations, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some early/late hours for events. Licensure and BOC certification are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited program.
• BOC certification and state license as applicable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates injuries and develops treatment and exercise plans within athletic training scope.
• Assists with clinical examinations, history, vitals, and pre/post-operative care guidance.
• Educates athletes and coaches on injury prevention and exercise programs.
• Provides wound care, casts, braces, and post-operative care under supervision.
