Job summary

IU Health is seeking a licensed athletic trainer to join our clinic and outreach teams in Indiana. You will perform comprehensive patient evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and guide patients through home exercise programs to optimize recovery.

Work under supervision in outpatient settings, collaborate with physicians, schools, and community partners, and contribute to program planning and education. A current Indiana license and BOC certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in athletic training or a bachelor’s in athletic training (before 2023).
• 0–3 years of relevant athletic training experience.
• Indiana State Athletic Training Licensure or eligibility.
• BOC certification as athletic trainer is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross Professional Rescuer is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with procedures in outpatient clinics.
• Perform evaluation, treatment planning, and home exercise education.
• Support outreach and collaboration with schools, athletic programs, and community partners.
• Contribute to scheduling, patient triage, and improving operational efficiency.
