IU Health is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join an outpatient clinic team. Under supervision of the clinic/practice manager, you will provide direct patient care, assist with procedures, education, and ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements include a Master's or Bachelor's in athletic training, 1-3 years of experience, Indiana licensure or eligibility, BOC certification, and BLS. IU Health offers substantial benefits, PTO, 401k match, and various programs.

Works with provider(s) in an outpatient clinic under the supervision of the clinic/practice manager and provider(s). Performs duties associated with direct patient care in accordance with the organization standards. Assists the providers with in-office procedures, treatments, casting, patient education, and assuring efficient patient flow. Patient education will range from explaining next steps in the treatment plan, to educating patients through a home exercise program or bracing. May perform computerized provider order entry per provider. Participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve set outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. May perform duties associated with symptom-management, direct in-clinic patient care, telehealth patient care, quality improvement activities, and other duties as assigned.
