Schedule: Full-time

Facility: Community Howard Regional Hlth

Shift: Day Job

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, weekends as needed

Compensation: 40 hours a week, 80 hours bi-weekly, with benefits

Make a Difference

Prevent, assess, and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries. Recondition athletes and active individuals after injury to prevent recurrence and disabilities. Primary duties will take place in middle or high school settings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in athletic training from an accredited program
  • Prior experience may be required depending on the contract
  • Current or temporary Indiana license; license must be obtained within 45 days if pending
  • Board of Certification (BOC), Inc. Athletic Training certification
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, treatment techniques, and current trends
  • Effective communication skills with staff, patients, and families
  • Ability to lift/transfer patients and equipment without restriction
  • Strong organizational and independent decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and adaptability to changing conditions
