Job summary

Villanova University is looking for a temporary Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) to oversee health-care delivery to varsity student-athletes. This role includes designing and supervising rehabilitation programs while maintaining communication with the Sports Medicine staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in sports medicine and have at least 1 year of experience. This position offers flexibility in work hours and a competitive pay rate of $40/hr.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of athletic training experience required.
• Knowledge of health care insurance issues and drug testing protocols.
• Extensive experience with post-surgical rehabilitation and therapeutic modalities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise health care delivery to assigned programs.
• Design and implement treatment and rehabilitation programs.
• Maintain daily electronic medical documentation for all student-athletes.
