Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Athletic Trainer (ATC) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of athletes? Look no further! Rock Valley Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time ATC to join our dynamic team in the IA/IL Quad Cities region.

Qualifications include a minimum Bachelor's Degree from a CAATE accredited institution in Athletic Training, NATA/BOC Certified, eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa and CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Athletic Training services to assigned high school under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in regards to efficient and effective prevention, acute care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injury.
  • Assist athletes and families with entry into the healthcare system for medical treatment and rehabilitation services beyond the scope or skill of the athletic trainer.
  • Engage in opportunities within the organization of Rock Valley such as relationship building, clinic assistantship, program development, and interprofessional collaboration.
  • Adhere to ethical standards of care and health information privacy
