This position is responsible for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries to collegiate athletes. The Athletic Trainer for Sports Medicine administers drug testing, insurance coordination, and travels with athletic teams to all events. The incumbent reports to the Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine in the administration of a Division I intercollegiate Athletic program in adherence to all university and Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure regulations.
