General Description: Under the direction of the Operations / Site Manager or designee, performs a variety of duties involved in the treatment and prevention of injury and in the care, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletes involved in sports or fitness. Provide athletic training services to student athletes under the direction of the team physician and in accordance with the state of Florida athletic training practice act. May be called on to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Formal Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited athletic training program is required; Master’s degree in a related sports medicine/healthcare field desired.
Work Experience: 2 to < 3 years.
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA-BOC) Certification is required. Must hold licensure by the Florida Department of Health or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Florida, with license to be obtained within first year of employment & maintained thereafter. BLS for Healthcare Providers is required. ACSM/CSCS certifications desired.
