The Athletic Trainer assists physicians in providing care and interfacing between our community partners and our Children’s Orthopedic Center sports medicine team. The Athletic Trainer is part of a dynamic group that supports both in‑office clinic work and outreach with community partners based on varying needs. In the clinic, the Athletic Trainer will assist with patient intake, initial assessments, and post‑operative procedures and education. Athletic Trainers engaging in outreach assist with managing the care of athletes and the active population in the community, providing on‑site care for high school athletes and our Young Athletes Academy partners including injury prevention, emergency coverage, and athlete education.
Employees must abide by all Joint Commission Requirements, hospital policies and procedures, and the Service Standards. They must also participate in ongoing education and training and adhere to safety and quality programs.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications, is qualifying.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a work‑related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience: None required.
License/Certification:

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range. Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $36.61 to $45.76
