The South Dakota Board of Regents is seeking an Athletic Trainer for the Athletic Department at the University of South Dakota. This position involves prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services for athletic injuries, along with guidance to assistant trainers. Candidates should have a Master's degree in sports medicine and BOC certification.
Responsibilities: The Athletic Department is seeking an Athletic Trainer to assist with the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for Cross Country/Track and Field teams. This position will provide injury care and rehabilitative services; provide guidance, work direction, and training to graduate assistant athletic trainers.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in sports medicine or a related field with experience in a similar position required. BOC certification required and South Dakota Athletic Trainers licensure eligible. Familiarity with NCAA Division I preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
