Job summary

Regional Health Services in Cresco, IA seeks an Athletic Trainer to prevent, examine, and treat athlete injuries. You will collaborate with athletes, parents, coaches, physicians, and rehabilitation teams to ensure effective care and documentation.

Ceiling for supplies and specialized equipment will be ordered and maintained by the trainer. The role requires a CAATE-accredited Master's in Athletic Training, NATA/BOC certification and Iowa licensure eligibility, plus CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from a CAATE accredited institution in Athletic Training.
• NATA/BOC Certified and eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge to care for the physical and developmental needs of all age groups.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Prevents, examines, and treats injuries of an athlete.
