Job summary

Solvere Technical Group is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide care and prevention for its athletes. The AT will perform initial evaluations, design personalized training programs, and maintain athlete records.

The role includes prehabilitative MSK services to strengthen the core system and enhance resistance to neck and back injuries. The position requires 2+ years as a licensed AT in high-performance environments, CAATE accreditation, a master's degree, BOC certification, and CPR/AED

Qualifications

• Must have recency within the last 2 years consistent with DHA PM.
• 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Athletic Trainer in collegiate, professional, or tactical settings.
• Graduated from CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Education Program; Master’s degree in related discipline.
• BOC certification and CPR/AED certification present.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluation and design individual training programs for athletes.
• Establish records for fighter aircrew and provide prehabilitative MSK services.
• Develop MSK strengthening and health education programs for injury resistance.

The Solvere Technical Group is seeking an Athletic Trainer to join our team and provide care and prevention for our athletes. The Athletic Trainer (AT) will provide performance enhancement, tailored strength and conditioning, preventive maintenance, and referrals to next level medical care if needed.

• The AT will perform the initial evaluation, design individual training programs, and establish records for all fighter aircrew personnel as well as provide prehabilitative services to individual fighter aircrew with the intention to strengthen the core musculoskeletal (MSK) system to enhance resistance to neck and back injury.
• The AT will also help design a MSK strengthening and healthy lifestyle education program as part of an overall health maintenance program to enhance injury resistance.
• The AT will advise unit commanders and individuals on matters related to injury prevention and identify opportunities for improvement, develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) for fitness programs.

Qualifications

• Must show recency within the last 2 years consistent with DHA PM

AND

• 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Athletic Trainer in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; aerospace industry, test pilot/astronaut or similar man-machine high-performance environment.

Security Requirement

• Must be able to pass a background check to be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CaC).

Education

• Graduated from an Athletic Training Education Program, Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)

AND

Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Athletic Training, Health Profession or Physical Education related discipline. Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)

Certifications

Current certification in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $58,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
