Job summary

State of Georgia’s South Georgia Technical College in Americus is seeking a Federal Work-Study Athletic Manager for the men’s team. You’ll support game operations, equipment, and travel coordination, earning $10.00 per hour and up to 20 hours weekly, contingent on FWS eligibility.

Applicants must meet FWS requirements, pass a background check, and be available for nights, weekends, and travel with the squad.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled for Fall Semester 2026 in at least six (6) credit hours
• Must be approved for Federal Student Aid for the 2026-2027 award year
• Must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program
• Must be making satisfactory academic progress
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check and/or other required screening, if applicable
• Must complete all required State of Georgia and South Georgia Technical College employment paperwork before beginning work
• Students may not begin working until all required hiring paperwork has been completed and approved
• Must be available to work nights and weekends and travel with the team to away games as required
