Job summary

Littleton Public Schools in Colorado offers a school bus driver role requiring a CDL with P and S endorsements, as well as First Aid/CPR certification. You will operate large vehicles, maintain student safety, and communicate clearly with students and staff while upholding confidentiality.

Starting pay is $24.75 per hour. A $39.50 background check and fingerprint fee is due upon hire. You must complete annual training and meet all licensing and safety requirements to serve our students.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL with P and S endorsements and a valid DOT medical card.
• Criminal background check and current DOT physical required for hire.
• First Aid/CPR certification required during course of employment.
• Operate large school buses with air brakes; maintain safety and student discipline.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely and responsibly to transport students.
• Maintain order and ensure student safety on the bus.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report mechanical issues.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS

• Criminal background check and current DOT physical required for hire.
• CDL with the P and S endorsements are required.
• Required to maintain current First Aid/CPR certification during course of employment in this position.
• Must participate and complete all annual training and testing requirements for School Bus Drivers.
