Job summary

The Salvation Army MS Gulf Coast is seeking a full-time Athletics Program Manager for the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Biloxi. You will develop, coordinate and monitor athletic programming based on community needs and trends, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Physical Education preferred.
• Three years administering recreation programs or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and TSA driver program eligibility; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day program activities of the gymnasium, track, and field; conducts performance evaluations and salary/hiring/firing recommendations for athletic staff.
• Ensures athletic programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety.
• Provides high-quality customer service and feedback to promote a positive experience for center participants.
• Coordinates, supervises, schedules, trains and orients athletic support staff, seasonal/part-time staff, and athletic volunteers.
