Job summary

The Bethel Park School District is seeking an assistant coach to guide student-athletes in the fundamentals of the sport, develop team strategies, and oversee conditioning to promote both personal and team success.

You will mentor players in character development, sportsmanship, and discipline, while pursuing ongoing improvement through clinics, observations, and collaboration with the athletic director and high school staff.

Qualifications

• Must organize and supervise the entire sports program.
• Coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Substantial knowledge of the sport's technical aspects.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of athletic policies approved by the Bethel Park Schools' Board of Education and ensure their implementation by the staff.
• Familiar with existing systems, state and league regulations; apply them consistently and interpret for staff.
• Understand proper administrative line of command and route requests or grievances through proper channels.
