Michigan State University is seeking an Assistant Director, Athletic Performance Coach to lead the development and evaluation of a comprehensive sport performance-training program for intercollegiate teams. Reporting to the Assistant AD/Director of Athletic Performance, you will shape training environments and collaborate with sports medicine, nutrition staff, and coaches.

Master's degree in kinesiology or exercise science with at least three years of professional experience.
CSCCa SCCC and/or NSCA CSCS certification maintained.

Responsibilities

Assist with creating a championship strength and conditioning environment for intercollegiate teams.
Implement sport-specific programs based on evidence-based protocols to enhance fitness, strength, power and speed.
Maintain a motivational environment for elite-level performances.
Collaborate with coaches, sports medicine, and nutrition staff to support athlete health and performance goals.
Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to staff and student employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential records related to training programs and performance metrics.
