Job summary

Williams College in the Berkshire Hills seeks a Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sport Supervision and Compliance to mentor coaches, oversee 10-12 varsity teams, and lead programming across athletics.

The role manages compliance, NCAA/NESCAC reporting, and transfer/processes, directs game management and postseason operations, and collaborates with internal and external partners to advance student-athlete experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant collegiate athletics experience.
• Background in collegiate coaching preferred; strong knowledge of NCAA/NESCAC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Mentor coaches across careers and provide feedback.
• Spearhead head coach searches and onboarding for assigned teams.
• Oversee 10-12 varsity teams including budgeting and equipment planning.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sports information, athletic training, strength and conditioning, equipment) and external offices (student life, development, alumni relations).
• Lead game management and postseason operations.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA/NESCAC rules and provide training on rules and reporting.
