Qualifications

• One year of training or experience working with irrigation or similar ground experience.

• Must pass district administered examination with a score of 70 or greater.
• Some incumbents must be able to demonstrate fluency in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the grounds and fields; cuts, weeds, and fertilizes grass.
• Replaces, repairs, and installs sprinklers and irrigation systems.
• Responds to emergency calls including vandalism and broken valves.
• Assists other staff with moving furniture as needed.
