Job summary

CU Boulder Athletics invites applications for a temporary grounds crew member to support all grounds-related work for CU Athletics. The role requires physical labor, good communication, the ability to take direction, and a background in ground maintenance in a fast-paced athletic environment.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with potential overtime for events such as football, concerts, and other athletic events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability and willingness to work significant and irregular hours including home football games, concerts, and other athletic events.
• Minimum two years of experience in maintenance of athletic fields at the collegiate level or higher.
• Experience with turf management equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming and general grounds maintenance.
• Assisting with field painting and event setups.
• Snow and ice mitigation and campus grounds cleaning.
• Support day-to-day turf management for athletic facilities.
