Qualifications

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and weather-related shifts.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator's License within 6 months of hire.
• Forklift and aerial lift certifications.
• Knowledge of turf management and safe equipment operation.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff and campus partners.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily field and outdoor surface maintenance for varsity and recreation activities.
• Plan field prep for practices and game day setups.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Monitor turf health; perform maintenance (fertilization, aeration, irrigation).
• Oversee snow removal and weather-related access.
• Collaborate with coaches and event staff to meet sport-specific needs.
• Research new turf techniques and equipment to improve efficiency.
