Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Student Athletic Field Operations student worker at our Campus location in Manchester, NH to assist the Athletic Operations Department with daily field maintenance for baseball, softball, tennis courts and related facilities.

You'll help with game setups, event preparations and learn to use the tools safely while working up to 20 hours per week. Ideal for undergrads enrolled in day programs with a willingness to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU.
• Work Study as part of their financial aid package.

Responsibilities

• Should have full knowledge of equipment and tools used for the job.
• Have the ability to train student workers on equipment use.
• Know the day to day tasks without needing instruction from full time staff.
• Rake, drag, mow, clay the baseball and softball fields.
• Leaf blow, turf groom, etc. at the stadium.
• Sucker vac and remove leaves from tennis courts.
• Help with snow removal of the athletic fields.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks for coaches and the department.
