Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a Landscaping Tech II to maintain university grounds and athletic facilities. The role includes planting, mowing, edging, top dressing, and field preparation, with responsibilities for equipment care and safety procedures.

The position supports Facilities Management and requires teamwork in a fast-paced campus environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State Driver’s license and insurable with company’s agent.
• Pressure washing, asphalt, concrete, construction, lawn care, landscape and/or hardscape experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform duties outdoors in Virginia climate.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
• Mow, edge, maintain athletic facilities, and seasonal lawn care.
• Assist in landscaping and hardscaping tasks.
• Operate lawn movers and related equipment.
• Follow safety PPE requirements and maintain equipment.
