Job summary

San Joaquin Delta College seeks a dedicated staff member to assist in maintaining, setting up and securing athletic facilities and equipment. You will manage inventory, issue uniforms, and support athletic events and scheduling.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, repairs, locker management and updating rosters, results, and news on the athletics site. A Class C license and first aid/CPR within 30 days are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience in equipment handling and record keeping in a sports program.
• Valid Class C California Driver's License by appointment.
• First aid/CPR certification within 30 days of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Set up athletic equipment for classes and events; perform minor repairs.
• Clean gym floors and remove debris.
• Receive, store, issue, and inventory equipment.
• Issue locks and manage locker assignments; maintain locker logs.
• Maintain uniforms and equipment for away games.
• Update athletic website rosters, schedules, bios, results, photos and news.
• Respond to questions regarding athletic events and operations.
