Job summary

Miami University is seeking a Program Aide-Athletic Event Usher to welcome guests at athletic and other events. You will help with stadium/arena operations to ensure safety and smooth flow of attendees, under the supervision of the Sport and Facility Support JM department.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with strong customer service and ability to interact with diverse guests. It is an intermittent, hourly position with a 28-hour schedule and no benefit eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school education or GED.
• Ability to work well with individuals with diverse backgrounds.
• Customer service skill.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and inform guests professionally.
• Inspect gates/turnstiles before events and store equipment after.
• Monitor patron flow and enforce venue rules.
• Resolve seating issues and ensure correct seating.
• Seat disabled guests and manage VIP seating.
• Take attendance at end of event and report to supervisor.
