Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and experience: graduation from high school and two years in a college athletic and Kinesiology department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the Kinesiology/athletic room and training room, including inventories for equipment.
• Issue and control inventory of uniforms, equipment and towels; inspect for proper fit and protection.
• Set up and break down equipment for classes and intercollegiate events.
• Coordinate game management and arrange facilities and officials for events.
• Assist Athletic Trainer and travel with teams; operate transport equipment as needed.
• Prepare and maintain athletic budgets; maintain related records and prepare reports.
• Train and supervise student workers and participate in hiring; maintain Kinesiology and athletic records.
• Inspect and repair clothing and equipment; maintain records of inventory and use.
• Prepare facilities for classes and events; ensure safety of pools and courts.
