Job summary

Penn State is seeking a full-time Athletic Equipment and Facilities Worker - Grade 7 to join the team. This role involves stocking towels, clothing, and equipment, and supporting Required Physical Education classes. You will assign baskets and locks, manage checkout, and ensure equipment readiness for events.

You will oversee student workers, maintain schedules, drive to events, perform minor repairs, and report major repairs as needed. A 9–12 month experience requirement applies.

Qualifications

• 9 to 12 months of effective experience.
• Background checks required and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Dispense towels, athletic clothing and playing equipment from the stock room.
• Assign baskets and locks to students in Physical Education classes and other requests.
• Exchange daily towels and athletic clothing used by teams and classes.
• Operate the equipment checkout and inventory processes and record fees.
• Drive trucks to deliver equipment and supplies to athletic events.
• Direct student helpers and maintain work schedules.
• Inspect and make minor repairs to equipment and facilities.
