The Athletic Director is responsible for building and promoting athletic programs that foster a lifelong love of physical activity, teamwork, and fair play.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular meetings of the MAISAD league.
  • Ensure athletic programs reflect the school's mission and philosophy.
  • Coordinate athletic activities with other school programs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with NEPSAC athletic directors.
  • Ensure student-athletes meet eligibility requirements, including physical exams, academic standards, and transfer regulations.
  • Develop strategies to promote athletic programs within the community.
  • Arrange accommodations, transportation, and meals for traveling teams.
  • Serve as an advisor to students.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant work experience required.
  • Knowledge of athletic program operations.
  • First Aid certification required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to foster relationships with parents, coaches, students, and staff.
