Charleston Southern University is seeking an Assistant Director for Athletic Communications to support publicity for NCAA Division I sports. You will oversee the athletics web presence, social media, press releases and statistical records, serving as the primary contact for media for assigned sports.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Experience in public relations and media outreach preferred.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Write recaps, releases and other promotional stories.
• Distribute news to local, regional and national media via digital platforms.
• Create social media content aligned with CSU strategies and style guidelines.
• Produce game programs and record books.
• Maintain statistical archives and related program records.
• Travel with teams as necessary, including postseason.
• Serve as liaison with Big South Conference and NCAA staff.
• Coordinate interviews for coaches and staff; supervise program social media content; develop media guides and printed materials; schedule and produce video content.
• Oversee csusports.com content; perform routine website maintenance and enhancements.
• Manage Live Stats and program records for all assigned sports; supervise gameday staff.
