Job summary

CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL is seeking Coaches for its schools in Hartford, Connecticut. Coaches will develop practice plans, supervise student-athletes, and ensure active participation during practices while maintaining safety and well-being.

Applicants must have or be working toward their Connecticut Coaches Certification, and hold CPR and First Aid certifications before the first practice. Availability for practice 6 days a week is required, with some games on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be working toward Connecticut Coaches Certification.
• CPR and First Aid certified before the first practice.
• Previous coaching or playing experience with the sport required.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful practice plans for student–athletes.
• Supervise student–athletes at all times.
• Coordinate transportation for students to practices and games.
