Job summary

Cedar Springs Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Athletic Coach for Freshman Baseball in Cedar Springs, Michigan. The coach will report to the Athletic Director and support student-athletes in a high school setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, coaching/playing experience at the high school or college level, strong communication, dependability, and CPR certification or willingness to obtain it. Salary is negotiable via the CSEA agreement.

REPORTS TO: AthleticDirector

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience coaching/playing at the high school/college level

• Ability to assume responsibility for supervising students
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, parents and the general public with the understanding that confidentiality should be exhibited
• Strong communication skills
• Current CPR certification or willing to obtain CPR certificate

RATE OF PAY: Per negotiatied agreement with the CSEA

Cedar Springs Public Schools is a Preschool through 12th-grade public school consisting of over 3,000 students and nearly 400 employees. We are located within the city limits of Cedar Springs, Michigan in Kent County. Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD).
