Madison Consolidated Schools is seeking an Athletic Coach to guide student-athletes in skill development, conditioning, and safe sport practices. You will align with the Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, and Principal, helping ensure compliance with IHSAA policies and district handbooks.

The role involves supervising student-athletes and assistant coaches, coordinating practice and game logistics, and maintaining equipment and facilities while promoting safety and professional

Competenze

• Knowledge of sport rules and appropriate sport-specific coaching methods.
• Prior coaching experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Communicate effectively with Student-Athletes, Parents, and Athletic Department.
• Maintain knowledge and administration of Madison Student Athletic Handbook & Coaches Handbook.
• Follow IHSAA Policies as dictated by IHSAA By-Laws.
• Complete IHSAA Rule Meetings on time.
• Complete National Federation of High School Sports Courses.
• Complete CPR/AED certification.
• Understand Academic Eligibility Requirements for Athletes.
• Schedule Transportation.
• Keep accurate stats.
• Pursue professional development opportunities.
• Attend regular Athletic meetings with Athletic Director and coaching staff.
• Maintain athletic equipment and facilities.
• Assist with budgeting and fundraising.
• Assist with off-season conditioning.
• Ensure proactive communication with Athletic Department regarding student-athletes.
