Job Description
The Athletes First Tailgate Tour College Ambassador raises brand awareness among each campus's student body and fan base surrounding the 2025 College Football season. The program offers students the opportunity to be an extension of the Athletes First family on their respective campuses, while gaining experience working with Athletes First’s Sports Properties & Events team. Brand Ambassadors will report directly to the Vice President of Events and collaborate with our team to promote excitement for upcoming experiential and content activations at each school.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute on-campus events to maximize student and fan interaction during the Athletes First Tailgate Tour.
- Promote the event actively on campus to student organizations, clubs, sports teams, fraternities, and sororities—bonus points if you are a current member of any of these groups.
- Provide creative input tailored to your campus for event planning.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Athletes First’s programming, talent, and brand initiatives.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with talent and executives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter attitude and proactive approach.
- Preferred: Students studying marketing, communications, sports management, public relations, or journalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Eligibility
- Must be actively enrolled at the University of Texas.
- Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Deep involvement in student life and understanding of the collegiate landscape and local city hotspots.
- Connected with diverse influential groups and individuals on campus.
- Access to own housing and transportation to/from events.
