Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach based in Aurora, Illinois. The role includes supporting the Head Coach to enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes through comprehensive training programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Current CPR/AED certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of NCAA Division III athletics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and delivery of sport specific strength and conditioning programs.
  • Supervise training sessions to ensure proper technique, safety, and program adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with sport coaches and athletic trainers.

Skills

Knowledge of evidence-based strength, speed, and conditioning principles
Ability to coach proper lifting techniques and movement mechanics
Experience working with multiple sports and training needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
