Job summary

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics seeks a Mental Health Clinician for the Department of Integrated Behavioral Health to deliver comprehensive clinical services to student-athletes in a high-pressure environment.

You will conduct assessments, provide individual and group counseling, participate in crisis interventions, coordinate care with sports medicine and psychiatric providers, and develop wellness workshops for teams and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related discipline.
• Licensure as LPC/LCSW/PSY D or eligible within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and crisis counseling to student-athletes.
• Conduct mental health screenings, manage crises, and design safety/treatment plans.
• Serve as Integrated Behavioral Health contact for specific athletic teams.
