Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist – Apparel to deliver exceptional shopping experiences, matching athletes with the right apparel for performance and everyday wear. You will combine product expertise, merchandise knowledge, and strong service to drive results on the floor.

You will collaborate with teammates to maintain store standards, participate in programs, and ensure engaging experiences for athletes of all abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging athletes, understanding shopping needs, and providing product information and recommendations.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as a subject matter expert.
• Maintains efficient process execution while ensuring products are ready for athletes to purchase and engagement is high.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards including floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory.
• Promotes participation in company programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Creates a welcoming store environment and adheres to safety, loss prevention, and operating policies.
