Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Raleigh is seeking store teammates to greet customers, understand their needs, and help them find the right products to help athletes achieve their goals. You will uphold merchandising standards, promote programs, and maintain an inviting, inclusive store environment while supporting the team to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience.

The role requires staying active on the floor, standing and walking for extended periods, and handling merchandise safely, with lifts

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
