Instructional Designers (Clinical & Non-Clinical)

Location: 100% Remote

Contract Role

Overview:

We are assisting our client in expanding their Learning & Development team to ensure consistent and effective staff training. We seek Instructional Designers to create training content aligned with EMR workflows and define what it means to be a PCO team member. These fully remote roles focus on developing standardized, impactful learning experiences for clinical and front office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop facilitator guides, process documentation, and educational content supporting operational and clinical roles.
• Translate Athena EMR system walkthroughs into real-world workflows tailored to staff operations.
• Create content to enhance understanding of core roles and processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and validate training materials.
• Utilize SharePoint as the primary repository for training materials (no LMS integration currently).
• Incorporate microlearning and gamification strategies to boost learner engagement and retention.
• Standardize onboarding and workflow education across 300+ clinics to support organizational consistency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience designing training content for healthcare teams (clinical and/or front office).
• Familiarity with Athena EMR workflows and system usage in provider/clinic settings.
• Strong content creation skills using tools like Articulate, Rise, Vyond, or similar platforms.
• Experience developing microlearning modules, gamified content, and interactive training experiences.
• Comfort working in a SharePoint-driven content environment.
• Ability to work independently remotely and manage shifting priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting enterprise-level EMR rollouts.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows to support providers, clinicians, and operational staff.
