Cessna Aircraft Company in Wilmington, Massachusetts is seeking an ATE Software Engineer III/IV. In this role, you will develop Automated Test Equipment for DoD and Aerospace projects, requiring expertise in Electrical Engineering and C# programming.

This role is in Textron System’s Weapon Systems business area. Applicants will design and implement automation software to satisfy test requirements, integrating with product development teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements. They will develop modular, reusable test automation software in C# and GUI tools for manufacturing and engineering design verification, produce technical presentation packages, and collaborate with ATE hardware developers to ensure hardware‑software cohesion during integration and debugging. Responsibilities also include producing test procedures and process documents, integrating ATE with units under test, releasing software into configuration management, supporting contract manufacturers, and interfacing with production teams.
Level III: $115,800 - $176,200
Level IV: $146,500 - $224,500
