Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor for the Washington National ATCT (DCA) in Washington, DC. You will deliver high-quality classroom and simulation-based training to development and CPC candidates, mentoring students and RPOs as needed.

The role requires FAA CPC certification with potential to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification, and a strong track record in ATC simulators and curriculum design.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Five+ years FAA CPC experience at a comparable ATC facility.
• Experience with FAA training environments and CPC certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom or simulation laboratory training to diverse students.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators as needed and assist in curriculum development.
• Design and develop training materials and scenarios for ATC simulators.
• Ensure training aligns with FAA standards and facility needs.
