Job summary

Visiting Angels Longview, TX is seeking dedicated Home Caregivers to support clients across East Texas, including Carthage and nearby towns. You will provide essential personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, transportation, and warm companionship in clients' homes.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. First Aid training is required or provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid training is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to get to/from client homes as scheduled.
• Be comfortable with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background checks).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

Role

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent


• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients

• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)


• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once


• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care


• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client


• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints


• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)


• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
