Qualifications

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes as scheduled.
Comfort with physical endurance for carrying groceries and assisting clients.
Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background checks).
Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients' days.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
Plan and prepare meals with clients.
Handle light housekeeping duties.
Report health changes or unusual incidents.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:
