Job summary

Visiting Angels of Albuquerque is seeking an At Home Caregiver to enrich clients' lives in the local area, including South Valley, Las Lunas, and nearby communities. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal planning, mobility support, and light housekeeping in clients' homes.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with insurance and a reliable vehicle, strong communication, and the ability to follow care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes when scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Compassion and desire to brighten each client's day.

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
