Job summary

Easterseals Massachusetts is seeking an Entry level AT Specialist to provide itinerant evaluation, consultation, and training services related to assistive technology for students in southeastern MA. The role covers Hingham, Fairhaven, Sandwich, SLRSD, and Wareham districts, with on-site work in SE MA.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree related to AT.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Previous work with persons with disabilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of disability related services preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• MA CORI check, national background check, and professional references check.
• Ability to provide a recent physical indicating the ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodations, and required immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide AT evaluations to students of varied ages and abilities.
• Provide consultation and trainings for the student and team, including family and school staff.
• Educate school team and family in evidence-based intervention techniques to promote successful outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with team to implement adaptive equipment and recommendations.
• Attend meetings to present reports.
• Maintain appropriate documentation based on professional practice and agency requirements.
• Submit paperwork and billing requirements in a timely manner.
• Follow Easterseals policies and procedures.
• Utilize SalesForce, MS TEAMS, and MS Outlook to communicate with colleagues and outside contracts and track caseloads.
