Job description

As an Applications Spray Technician, Weekday Nights, you will interact within a Painting Process Laboratory using Paint Application Equipment and Automation tools. You will ensure the safe operation of Applications Spray Equipment and Chemical Handling. You will also verify and maintain the Lab and Equipment according to 5S/Quality Standards and lead customer workflow to ensure the timeline and deliverable success. You will report to an Application Team Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH. This shift is Tuesday through Friday from 5pm to 3:30am, with training schedules that may vary.

NO prior experience necessary / paid training / Physically demanding position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and set equipment parameters per standard documentation
  • Use computers to operate equipment, capture process settings and record results
  • Understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately
  • Spray and test samples of paint from production and development
  • Complete spray experiments using Robotic Equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and complete safety training
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and perform scheduled 5S tasks
  • Enter data into the Application log

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; chemistry and algebra knowledge preferred; some college chemistry and math are desirable
  • Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately; must be observant, accurate, and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to handle a physically demanding position
  • Digitally literate
