Regional Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
Mapleton, IL

Summary: Responsible for maintenance and installation of all fieldinstruments, process control computers and electrical maintenance at allMatheson facilities.

Position Accountabilities

• Operates and controls equipment used in an air separation plant
• Must maintain Qualified Electrical Worker certification
• Maintains quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs
• Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation.
• Maintains calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders
• Perform routine and non-routine analytical calibrations and adjustments.
• Works with management team to schedule calibration and preventive maintenance programs to achieve plant and company strategic quality goals.
• Assists in the development and administration of comprehensive spare parts program
• Assists in the training and development of others when needed.
• Performs maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment, when required
• Reads and interprets technical drawings and manuals. Required Skills:
• Ability to research, select and negotiate purchases for suitable plant equipment
• Ability to reads and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Statistical and analytical skills. Clean driving record
• Other job duties as assigned

Requirements

• Possess skills toutilize general hand tools.
• Possess skills to utilize I&E test equipment,including DVM, megger, process calibrator, transmitter simulator.
