Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a maintenance technician in Irving, TX to service field instruments, control computers, and electrical systems across its facilities. The role requires reading technical drawings, performing calibrations, and maintaining QA equipment such as process analyzers and gas chromatographs.

You will install and repair instrumentation, maintain calibration standards, and assist in spare parts management.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and QA processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control equipment in the air separation plant.
• Install, maintain, adjust and repair instrumentation (manual, pneumatic, electric, electronic).
• Perform routine and nonroutine calibrations and adjustments.
• Maintain calibration standards and spare parts programs.
• Assist in training and development of others when needed.

Job description

Essential Function

Responsible for maintenance and installation of all field instruments, process control computers and electrical maintenance at all Company facilities. Position Accountabilities Operates and controls equipment used in an air separation plant. Must maintain Qualified Electrical Worker certification Maintains quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation. Maintains calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders Perform routine and nonroutine analytical calibrations and adjustments. Works with management team to schedule calibration and preventive maintenance programs to achieve plant and company strategic quality goals. Assists in the development and administration of comprehensive spare parts program. Assists in the training and development of others when needed. Performs maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment, when required. Reads and interprets technical drawings and manuals. QUALIFICATIONS

Education Associate's Degree in applicable field or equivalent Industry Experience is required.

Pay Range $55.00 to $70.00 per hour Based on Qualification and Experience
