Available Positions

ASU Psychiatric RN (Full-time-3rd Shift) (Full Time)

Location: Providence, RI

Schedule: 3rd Shift; Thurs-Sat (7pm-7am)

We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week), third-shift RN for our 16-bed Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI.

The ASU provides trauma-informed, client-centered, quality care to adults in mental health crises. No restraints are used, as our facility is voluntary.

The unit's nurses are responsible for:

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting psychiatric and medical needs, consulting with providers as needed.
• Reviewing referrals.
• Conducting assessments.
• Reconciling and ordering medications.
• Administering medications.
• Providing crisis intervention, milieu management, and health education as part of an interdisciplinary team.

This role requires high client interaction and teamwork. Excellent interpersonal skills and bedside manner are essential!
